We are currently hiring for an exciting position at our site in Molenstede, Belgium
Field Service Engineer
Your responsibilities
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine appropriate technical (complex) solutions for customers worldwide related to industrial cable & wire processing
- responsible for drawing up cost estimations for repairs (on-site as well as internally)
- Operate efficiently to conclude all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test activities
- Discern customer needs and offer advice or recommendations
- Provide technical assistance and training to operators at the customer site
- Assistance in the acceptance of the start-up of new equipment to the customer in close cooperation with Project Manager
- responsible for in-house testing
Your profile
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer
- Ability to manage and preserve technical equipment
- Very good Knowledge English
- Familiar with industry standard equipment and technical expertise
- Live the rules of safety and quality
- Able to diagnose defects on technical equipment , test, repair and maintain it
- Excellent presentation and training skills
- Flexible team player who takes initiative
- Willingness to travel ( up to 30%)
